01What Orrerie is

Orrerie is a hosted AI productivity service for individual knowledge work. It combines a visual conversation workspace with document handling, model-usage metering, connected services and sandboxed agent missions that can research, run code and create downloadable files.

The product’s value is the Orrerie software and operating environment: account security, persistent workspaces, task orchestration, files, metering, connectors, approvals, publishing and support. It is not a cryptocurrency, payment product, investment service, model marketplace or transferable API-credit service.

02Core workspace

• Account-scoped conversations with search, branching, attachments and deletion controls.
• Supported Anthropic and OpenAI chat and agent models, chosen through a provider-aware model interface and subject to provider availability.
• Images, PDFs and long text inputs, plus generated reports, code, tables and media files.
• Live context and metered AI-usage information so users can understand plan consumption.
• Optional own-key mode for users who prefer to pay Anthropic directly.

03Agent missions

Agent mode turns an instruction into a bounded server-side mission. Within an isolated workspace it can plan steps, read authorized public web content, use a sandboxed browser, run permitted code, process media and build files. A mission can continue after the initiating tab closes, subject to capacity, time, safety and provider limits.

Consequential external actions can require approval. Users may automate only websites, accounts, systems and data they own or are authorized to use. Unauthorized access, access-control circumvention, credential abuse and unlawful scraping are prohibited.

04Connected services

Users may optionally connect Google services, Apple Music, remote MCP tools or their own API credentials. Connections are account-scoped; secrets are encrypted at rest and masked on readback. Each third party has its own terms and privacy practices, and users choose when to connect or invoke it.

05Digital delivery

Orrerie is delivered online; nothing is shipped. Account access begins after sign-in. Own-key features are available after a valid key is added. A paid access period begins after the payment provider reports sufficient confirmation.

06Important limitations

AI output requires review and can be wrong. Tool, model and website availability can change. Orrerie does not guarantee that every mission will finish, that every website will permit automation, or that a third-party integration will remain available.

07Provider relationship

Orrerie uses Anthropic’s commercial API and Agent SDK for Claude features, and OpenAI’s Responses API with Codex App Server for selected OpenAI chat and agent models. Orrerie is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Anthropic or OpenAI.
